Rachel Hain, LCPC

Credentials and Professional Experience:

Rachel Hain is a mental health professional with a Master of Arts in psychology (clinical concentration). She is a licensed professional counselor in the state of West Virginia since 2023 and is a certified clinical trauma professional. Rachel earned an undergraduate degree in psychology from Shippensburg University in 2018 and a Master of Arts in psychology from Towson University in 2020. She has experience working with clients in various settings including hospitals, emergency rooms, and outpatient treatment centers both within mental health and substance use primary realms; children through geriatric age populations.

 

Approach:

Rachel approaches her work with compassion and empathy to create a safe environment for clients to explore their feelings and develop coping strategies to tackle the challenges life presents. She uses an integrated approach of cognitive, behavioral, and person-centered strategies. Rachel believes healing is an individualized process and meets clients where they are in that process. Rachel believes people are resilient and worthy of support and self-care. She enjoys seeing clients reach their goals.
