Credentials and Professional Experience:
Tera (she, her, hers) is a licensed clinical social worker in her home state of Maryland. Tera earned an undergraduate degree in Social Work from University of Maryland Baltimore County, and completed her graduate studies in 2005 at the University of Maryland Baltimore, earning a Master’s of Social Work with a specialization in children and families. Tera has spent much of her career in non-profit leadership working with programs that support young people experiencing difficulty in their lives and with their family systems.

Tera approaches her work with clients using this framework. Her therapeutic style is person-centered, eclectic and compassionate, grounded in meeting people exactly where they are. Her warm and accepting approach is balanced with the desire to support individual growth at a pace each client is comfortable with. Tera aims to help individuals identify their goals, understand what may be preventing achievement of those goals, and design creative strategies to move forward. She has a special interest in supporting individuals suffering from the intrusion and isolation of anxiety, supporting individuals struggling with infertility and supporting young adults transition to independence.
